Kitchen Design: latest trends

A welcoming environment, the kitchen is not only used to eat meals but also to enjoy pleasant moments of conviviality with relatives and friends, to do homework, study, work.

A new project integrates the kitchen with the rest of a home, and even with the outside.

Year after year, trends identify increasingly innovative solutions for worktops but also for finishes and details.

Complements and accessories will always play an important role in the kitchen. Must-haves include bar corners and wine cellars of different sizes

The student will learn the basic of kitchen design:

• Planning your project
• How to avoid the most common mistakes in kitchen design
• Why use an architect or an interior designer for your design
• Identify ideal kitchen layouts for smaller and larger kitchens.
• How to create your own colour board
• Be able to select the right finishes for your dream kitchen
• How to implement innovative storage solutions for your kitchen
• Which accessory to use
• Latest trends

The second part of the lesson is focused on developing a new scheme for your kitchen. In doing that you will build your own journal full of inspirational ideas.

A visit to a kitchen showroom will be offered to interested students.

Study notes will be provided for the course.

A certificate of participation and an assessment of the skills acquired will be issued.
